Tamy’s love for music started when her elementary school music teacher placed her in a small group vocal ensemble. She began taking organ lessons which she did not really enjoy. She switched to piano lessons when her grandmother gave her a piano. While in middle school and high school her love for music continued and she began taking vocal lessons where her passion deepened. She sang in church choirs, county and state competitions, local performances, etc. She participated in high school musicals, community theater, jazz band, and everything musically related. While at Lee College (now Lee University) she sang with an all-female choir. After college, Tamy still sang in churches, gatherings, funerals, and weddings.
